Take teams of up to 15 members, and challenge them to design, build, program, and operate functioning robots, which will compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. Along with designing and building, teams will also raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach. The end result is FTC, First Tech Challenge.
FTC is a robotics competition for middle and high school students, whose mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, and encourage them to pursue education and careers in STEM-related fields.
Students learn to practice engineering principles, develop STEM skills, while also building self confidence, communication, knowledge, leadership, and other life skills.
