Sergio Medina has demonstrated his commitment through his six years at Astro Aegis. Through his hard work, he has risen in the ranks and earned the position of Secretary and now of President. His leadership is invaluable and guides the company to where it is today.

Abelardo Montoya
Abelardo Montoya, with five years of experience, holds the role of Vice President. His tenure with the company highlights his commitment and ability to contribute significantly to the organization’s growth and development. As Vice President, he is a key player in driving the company’s strategic direction.

Giselle Gonzalez has been with us for three years and has demonstrated dedication and ability to manage crucial administrative functions. Her role ensures the smooth operation of essential processes and serves as a backbone for efficient company operations.

Jermy Mendoza has worked with Astro Aegis for two years and, in that time, has proved his commitment and ability to keep up with our finances. As Treasurer, he manages and documents our company’s funds and expenditures.

Parker Collis
Parker was born on November 6th, 2006. He’s a senior in highschool and this is his 6th year in Robotics. Parker’s favorite part of Robotics is building in the engineering department. He is also involved in band. His hobbies include playing the guitar, music, and making models. His dream for the future is to go into civil engineering/audio tech. His favorite food is chicken.
Construction Head
Rachelle Howard
Rachelle was born on March 28, 2007. She is currently a High School Senior. Rachelle has been part of the robotics team for 3 years now. Rachelle is part of the Booth/Promotions and Construction of the Gamefield. Her favorite hobby is drawing. Rachelle’s favorite snack is Hot Cheetos. Her dream is to become a biomedical engineer. Rachelle shared that her favorite part of being a part of robotics is the bonding. She further explained that she wanted to join robotics for new experiences.

Daisy Guiterrez
Daisy was born on December 30, 2006. She’s 17 years old and a High School Senior. Her favorite food is chicken flautas. Daisy has been part of the robotics team for 5 years now. Daisy stated that her dad encouraged her to join robotics. She is a part of the marketing department. Her favorite memory during robotics season is when she went to Main Event, Medieval Times, and the trips that come with being part of the team.

Maddox Astudillo
Maddox was born on March 3rd, 2008. He’s a junior in highschool and has been in Robotics for 3 years. His favorite part of being involved with our team is constructing trinkets and making new memories with his fellow members. Maddox is also involved with SkillsUSA. His hobbies are gaming/streamer, gardening. A dream he hopes to achieve is to become a psychologist. His favorite food is spaghetti.
Lukas Borunda
Lukas was born on January 2nd, 2009. He’s 15 years old and is a sophomore in highschool. This is his fourth year on the team. He’s in the engineering department and his favorite part of working with the team is building things. In his free time he likes to play videogames and baseball. His favorite food is steak. He wants to become a welder and attend Texas Tech University.
Marisabel Cabello
Marisabel was born on April 26th, 2008. She’s a junior in highschool and this is her first year in Robotics. Although this is Marisabel’s first year, her favorite parts of being on this team is being able to work with a team and creating a company in the Marketing Department. She is also involved in Tennis, Student Council, and Interactive Club. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, and playing piano. She dreams of being a speech pathologist in her future. Her favorite food is steak.
Jefte Delgado
Jefte Delgado was born March 31st 2011. He’s an 8th grader in Taylor Middle School and has been in Robotics for 2 years. His favorite part of robotics is building in the construction department. His hobbies include mechanic work and he hopes to pursue a career as an auto body mechanic. His favorite food is lasagna.
Casyn Vancleve
Casyn Vancleve was born on August 16, 2008 and is a Junior. This is his third year on the team and he is in the construction department. His favorite food is asado and his hobbies are resin art and riding dirt bikes. His favorite parts of robotics are the trips. His dream is to be a chef and own a restaurant.
Lexi Lamb
Lexi was born on October 16, 2010. Lexi is 13 years old and in 8th grade. Although this is her first year in robotics her favorite part of being a part of our team is learning about coding, tools, and assembly in the engineering department. Other extra curricular activities she’s involved in are Science Olympiad, and eventually tennis. Her hobbies include riding her scooter, listening to music, and playing video games. She hopes in the future to pursue as a meteorologist. Her favorite food is also fried catfish.
Micah McDaris
Micah McDaris was born June 3rd, 2008. He is currently a junior in Lovington High School. He has been in robotics for 3 years and his favorite part of being involved with this team is the community. He is also involved in FCA and goes fishing in his free time. He hopes to travel in the future. His favorite food is wings
Valerie Najera
Valeria Najera was born July 8th, 2009. She is currently a sophomore at Lovington High School. Valerie has been involved with our team for 3 years and her favorite part of being in Robotics is the field trips we take. She is also involved in tennis and English Expo. Her hobbies outside of Robotics are writing and listening to music. She hopes in the future to still be a part of our team. Her favorite food is wings.
Alvaro Pratt
Alvaro Pratt was born October 3rd, 2008. He is currently a sophomore in Lovington High School. Alvaro has been involved with our team for 3 years and his favorite part of being in Robotics is Coding in the engineering department. He is also involved in the Science Olympiad. His hobbies include gaming, running, and watching TV. His future plan is to be the best programmer in the world and to retire in teaching. His favorite food is pizza.
Andy Rivera
Andy Rivera was born June 30th, 2010 and is currently a freshman at Lovington High School. Andy has been involved with our team for 2 years and his favorite part of being in Robotics is designing trinkets and working with the team in the construction department. His extracurriculars are baseball. His hobbies include playing on the PS5 and Robotics. His dream for the future is to make it to the Dallas Competition for Robotics. His favorite food is pasta.
Emiliano Rosendo
Emiliano Rosendo was born July 15th, 2008 and is currently a junior at Lovington High School. Emiliano has been involved with our team for 1 year and his favorite part of being on this team is traveling and the competitions in the construction department. He is also involved in Skills USA, FTC Robotics, and Best Robotics. His hobbies include drawing and collecting toys. He hopes in the future to be a movie director, graphic novel artist, and writer. His favorite food is burgers.
Maximos Spencer
Maximos Spencer was born May 31st, 2011 and is currently an 8th grader atTaylor Middle School. Maximos has been involved in our team for 1 year and his favorite part about being in robotics is building robots. His extracurricular are FCA and his hobbies are coding and unicycling. His favorite food is birria tacos.
Levi Valenzuela
Levi Valenzuela was born July 27th, 2010 and is currently a freshman at Lovington High School. Levi has been involved with our team for 3 years and his favorite part of being in robotics is the trips we take. He is in the engineering department. Outside of robotics he is a part of the golf team. His hobby is fishing. He hopes in the future to pursue a career in computer science. His favorite food is tacos.
Shamus Vancleve
Shamus Vancleve was born on March 21, 2006. He is a Senior and this is his second year in Robotics. His favorite food is sushi. His hobbies are woodworking, welding, and mechanics. His favorite part of robotics is working with the construction of the booth and engineering. He wants to be a mechanic for the army.
Viyen Villareal
Viyen Villareal was born on January 31st, 2008. He is a Junior with this being his first year on the team. He is a part of the construction team. He is also a part of Lovington’s tennis team, Color Guard, Choir, Student Council, Science Olympiad, FCCLA, and Interactive Club. His favorite food is macaroni and his hobbies include playing tennis, and reading. His favorite parts of being in robotics are the team activities and 3-D printing. He is still weighing out his options for the future.
Iris Wood
Iris Wood was born on August 9, 2008 and is a Junior. This is her first year on the team and is in the Marketing department. Her favorite food is chicken alfredo. Her hobbies are dancing and baking. She does competitive dance and is involved in Lovington’s FCA. Iris’ favorite part of Robotics is the people. She plans on becoming an ultrasound technician and attending Texas Tech University.
Jonah Wood
Jonah Wood was born on November 12, 2009 and is a freshman in high school. This is his third year on the team and he is in the Engineering department. His favorite food is tacos. He likes to play the guitar as a hobby. Jonah also plays baseball. His favorite part of robotics is spending time with friends. He is still considering his options for the future.
Cruz Zapata
Cruz Zapata was born on April 22, 2012 and is in the 7th grade. This is his first year on the team. He is part of the marketing department. He is also involved in Science Olympiad and band. His favorite food is meatballs and he likes to play videogames in his free time. His favorite part of robotics is getting to spend more time with friends. In the future he hopes to become a computer programmer.
